The first vehicle was presented to the public in January 1953 in the New York Hotel Waldorf Astoria, the public reacted enthusiastically and six months later series production began.
During the production period from 1953 to 1962 the vehicle was visually and technically revised several times and became the dream of all sports car lovers.
The Corvette C1 also had some appearances in well-known Hollywood movies like “Gran Torino” or “American Graffitti”. Built until today the Corvette is one of those cars with the longest model history.
