In autumn 1967 the Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was presented at the Paris Motor Show. It was considered the “most comfortable” Ferrari of all times with independent suspension, power steering, air conditioning, electric windows and radio.
Due to its long body and the comfort unique for a Ferrari, this legendary car was nicknamed “Queen Mary”. The heavy weight of the car was often the subject of criticism.
However, most of the testers agreed that the agility of the car did not suffer from it. The engine is based on the Lampredi V12, which was originally built for racing cars, and is also powerfully perceptible in this model. In total only 800 cars were produced.
