2016 Shelby GTH on request

In 1966, Hertz rented out 1,000 Shelby Mustang GT350Hs. Under the name “Rent a Racer,” this was a huge success. In 2006 and 2007, this success was repeated: 500 Shelby Mustang GT-Hs were created in each case – all black with gold stripes.

For the 50th anniversary, a special Shelby-Hertz series was launched again in 2016. This time, 171 vehicles were created, which were rebuilt by Shelby and boosted to 435 hp (without supercharger). They could be rented in selected stations in the USA.

Our car is number 13 of 171, one of only 16 cars which were equipped with manual transmission and a supercharger and were not intended for rental. This car was never rented, but only used for show and advertising purposes.
